The wooden roll of honour commemorates those from Goomalibee and District who served in World War One and World War Two.

Last Saturday night a meeting was held in the Goomalibee Hall to finalise arrangements for the unveiling of the Honor Roll with names of district men of both wars. The board was donated by Mr. A. Sutherland, of Benalla High School, and the signwriting was done by Mr. Ben Laws, of Shepparton. Arrangements are well in hand for the unveiling, and this ceremony is to take place at the Goomalibee Hall on Sunday, May 7, at 2.30 p.m. Speakers will include Air Vice Marshal W. D. Bostock, M.H.R., and Mr. F. A. Cook, M.L.A. As this is a very important occasion, it is hoped that a large assemblage will be present.
