Mount Compass - Nangkita Districts Honour Roll Print Page
The honour roll commemorates those from the Mount Compass and Nangkita District who served in both World Wars.
At a Pleasant Sunday afternoon to be held in the Mount Compass Memorial Hall at 3 o'clock on 21st June, Senator E. W. Mattner will unveil an honour roll for those who enlisted from the district for service in both World Wars. Mr. C. Thompson, president of Legacy, will be the guest speaker, and items will be contributed by the Community Centre Choir. The P.S.A. will be preceded by a ball on Friday, 19th June, to mark the first anniversary of the opening of the Memorial Hall.
