Wandong War MemorialPrint Page
The monument commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
Funding for the monument was received through the ANZAC Centenary Grants Program.
Since 2012 the Wandong War Memorial Project Committee has been working to build a war memorial to commemorate not only the centenary of World War One but also to honour those from the area who served in all wars. Unlike most other towns a memorial was never built in Wandong despite the pleas from locals as far back as 1926.
