The wooden honour roll commemorates those from the district who served in World War Two.

The Presbyterian church hall, Chocolyn, was the scene of an impressive ceremony, on Thursday night, June 27 when the Roll of Honor board, containing the names of all personnel of Chocolyn district, who had taken part in World War II. was unveiled in the presence of a large gathering. Arrangements for the ceremony were in charge of Camperdown sub-branch of the R.S.S. & A.I.L.A., who were represented by Messrs. W. Wall (president), N. Davis and L. Bennett. Rev. D. Drennan accepted the honor board, on behalf of Chocolyn district residents, from Mr. and Mrs. A. Goodgame, who generously donated the beautifully finished board, as a memorial to their son, Jack, who paid the supreme sacrifice in the recent conflict.

Musical items were rendered by Messrs. W. Best and Keith Downs. Miss McErvale presided at the organ.
