The Anderson Park War Memorial commemorates those who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The War Memorial was originally erected in the park by the Young Chamber of Commerce in memory of those who served in World War Two and commemorates the naming of the park after Lieutenant -Colonel Anderson who was renowned for his gallantry in the Malayan Campaign during World War Two.

In 1997, a Wall of Remembrance was erected at the memorial site and lists the names of those who served in World War Two. Additional plaques have been added to the wall to commemorate those who served in other conflicts.

Note: Lieutenant- Colonel Anderson is listed as a separate entry.
