Commemorates Frederick Dutton and others who camped in the creek and were the first prospectors in the St. Arnaud area. T

his monument is formed by a truncated masonry pyramid with dark stone veneer cladding and an arrow fixed to the top pointing in the direction of the creek where gold was first prospected in the district
