The hall commemorates Geoff Minter and Geoff Bandholz, members of the Fraser Coast Cycling Club, who were killed in car crash in 1965 on their way to a carnival in Bundaberg, Queensland.
The club members decided in 1966 to build a memorial hall in their honour.
