The window commemorates Symons Sympson Tovey, who was Rector of the parish from 1893 to 1910.

SYDNEY. Thursday. News has been received in Sydney of the death at Paris of the Reverend S. S. Tovey, who recently left for England and the Continent on account of long continued ill-health. Rev. Symons Sympson Tovey, B.A., was one of the leading members of the Anglican clergy, being Incumbent of the Glebe Church.
