A plaque commemorates Flight- Sergeant E. W. Baldwin who died in service during World War Two.

Mr and Mrs A. J. Baldwin, of Gre Gre South, have been informed that their son, Flt-Sgt E. W. Baldwin, 24, RAAF, lost his life while a member of the crew of a Wellington aircraft which crashed in England when engaged on a non-operational flight. Flt-Sgt Baldwin, who left Australia in August last, had followed farming pursuits up to the time of enlistment.
