A Cessna 310 airplane (VH-KRZ) comemmorates Erno Sopru who lost his life in the service of aviation, and to all other people who have lost their lives following their aviation career.

Erno Sopru was killed when the Cessna 310H, VH-DZH, he was flying crashed near Emu Junc­tion, South Australia on the 9th of June 1988.

Front Inscription

This aircraft is on permanent loan from Mrs Coraine Sopru, of Air Charter Australia and is in memory of her late husband Erno Sopru, who lost his life in the service of aviation.

It is also a memorial to others who have lost there lives in the course of their aviation career.

"Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall : but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.  They will soar on wings like eagle."  Isaiah 40.31.
