Front Inscription

This Town Clock
was presented to the people of
the Herbert River District by the
Ingham Sicilian Association in 1994 as
a tribute and reminder of the contribution of
Italo / Australians of Sicilian Heritage.

The nine emblems symbolize the coat-of-arms
of each of the Provinces of Sicily.

Within lies a time capsule to be opened
in 25 years, in 2019.
