A white box tree (Eucalyptus albens) planted in 1985 in the southern portion of the park (near Hall St) commemorates the 10th anniversary of the Castlemaine Field Naturalists Club and the 25th anniversary of the Western Victoria Field Naturalists Clubs Association.

This tree was planted by Raymond Bradfield, 1st President of the CFN to commemorate their 10th birthday.

Also the 25th anniversary of the WVFNCA. White Box Eucalyptus albens.
