Underneath this rock lies a time capsule.

This time capsule was buried on 5 December 2001 by Cr Bill Bowie Mayor of the City of Whitehorse to commemorate the 2001 "International Year of Volunteers".  The CIty of Whitehorse would like to thank all volunteers for their tireless efforts and valuable contribution to the Whitehorse community.

The time capsule will be opened on Australia Day 2051
