Dedication

Front Inscription

The 9th Australian Field Ambulance  (AIF) saw service in Papua and New Guinea between June 1943 and November 1944. The unit tended wounded Australian and American troops at the front and behind the lines during some of the heaviest fighting of the Pacific War.
