The Yealering Memorial Gates commemorate those who died in service or were killed in action in World War Two. 

The pillar supporting the right gate has memorial plaques affixed to the pillar with the names of those men and women who gave their lives in World War Two. The gate contains a plaque erected in memory of Sister Minnie Hodgson who was killed at Banka Island in February 1942.
