World War II
1939 - 1945
The Hamilton Municipality is proud of the many young men and women from the Municipality who enlisted in the Navy, Army and Air Force and served in all theatres of war.
Many spent long periods and endured extreme hardship as prisoners of war of the Germans in the European and Middle East campaigns, and of the Japanese in the Pacific campaigns.
The following made the supreme sacrifice and were killed in action defending the freedoms cherished by our nation.
