This plaque was unveiled by Brigadier John P. A. Deighton A.M.M.C.  C.E.O. Victorian Branch R.S.L. to commemorate  the 60th anniversary of WWII 1939 - 1945 & to honour the men and women of Charlton who served or paid the final sacrifice
