The Kamarooka War memorial Rotunda was erected by the Kamarooka Patriotic Societies in the grounds of the State School in memory of the soldiers who enlisted in World War One. The rotunda was unveiled on the 21st December 1918 and contained an honour roll and memorial tablet. The honour roll of Queensland pine contained the names of the 47 men from the district who enlisted while the memorial tablet contained the names of the 17 who fell. The decorative work and the names on the roll were inscribed by Berne Marcollo.

Note : The building has recently been restored by the City of Bendigo and the honour roll and memorial tablet are no longer in the rotunda.
