Greenmount Roll of HonourPrint Page
Greenmount Roll of Honour lists 35 names of those who served in World War One. The Honour Roll was originally located in the former Presbyterian Church in the town.
To raise funds to replace the honour board in the Presbyterian Church, a series of coin evenings was held at the manse . For every £1 raised, Mr Matthew Brodie donated a similar amount. The result was a silky oak board with the names engraved in gilt. The ceremony of unveiling was performed by Colonel Neville Hatton assisted by the Reverend W.R.Faulkner in October 1932.
