A photographic honour roll commemorates those who served in World War One.

Mount Hicks roll of honour was unveiled on Wednesday night. John Hyland presided, and called on Mrs. Smart sen. (the oldest resident) to perform the ceremony, which she did amidst cheers from the large audience. Father O'Carroll, the Warden (Mr. Johnston), and Mr. Whitsitt spoke in appreciative terms of the men who had enlisted, the number being very creditable for such a small district. The proceedings terminated by singing the National Anthem  and the verse, "God Save Our Splendid Men."
Examiner (Launceston), 9th February 1918.
