An honour roll commemorates those from the Upper Castra District who served in World War One.

The Warden (Mr. Dunning) and most of the councillors of the Leven municipality journeyed to Upper Castra on Wednesday night to be present at the unveiling of the local honour roll. The Warden presided, and in addition to his fellow councillors he was supported by the Hon. John Hope. M.L.C.  Mr. Stevens, whose son won the Military Medal, and was since killed, unveiled the honour roll.
