St Luke`s Honour RollPrint Page 
The wooden honour roll commemorates the men of St. Luke`s congregation who served in World War One. It lists 49 names.
A most impressive service was conducted in St. Luke's Church on Friday night by the Bishop of Tasmania (Bishop Hay) when the honor board in memory of the men of the church at Latrobe who answered the call of duty in the war was unveiled by His Lordship.
There was a large attendance to do honor to the men whose names were written in letters of gold on the handsome board supplied by the Latrobe Timber Co., and was made of polished Tasmanian oak and blackwood. The names were inscribed on a scroll of blackwood set in the centre of the board.
