Serpentine Roll of HonourPrint Page Print this page

Serpentine Honour Roll includes the names of 10 fallen out of 25 soldiers who served in World War One.

Local ex-soldiers protested in September 1931 at the installation of German made lights in the hall . An election had been held and the ex-soldiers were outvoted and the lights were installed. The ex-soldiers found it offensive that the lights lit up the honour roll.
The West Australian (Perth), 3rd September 1931.
