Jamestown Presbyterian Honour RollPrint Page Print this page

Jamestown Presbyterian Honour Roll commemorates those members of the church and Sunday School who volunteered for service in World War One.

The Presbyterian Church held its thanksgiving services on Sunday when the Right Rev. F. S. Souter, Moderator for South Australia, preached morning and evening. A special feature was the unveiling during the afternoon of a beautiful honor roll to members of the church and Sunday School who had volunteered for the great war. The hall was crowded, and Col. J. J.Brooks, D.S.O., performed the unveiling ceremony.
Recorder (Port Pirie), 28th February 1923.
