Hammond District Council Honour Roll commemorates those who served in World War One.

At a Council meeting on December 20th 1919, a discussion was held on the question of where to instal the honour roll, and if was decided to erect it in the institute. A public meeting to be called for Christmas Eve to discuss final arrangements. The Clerk was instructed to write the Hammond institute committee asking if they were willing to fall in with the ratepayers' views and permit the roll of honour to be erected in the Hammond hall. Roll to be vested in the Hammond District Council.
