Hamley Bridge Roll of HonourPrint Page
Hamley Bridge Roll of Honour commemorates those who served in World War One. It was erected by the Alma Plains Ratepayers.
On Saturday, September 1st, in the Institute Hall, a Roll of Honour was erected to the memory of those who had enlisted from this district. It is a very nice token, and has a large number of names on it. The Chairman of the District Council (Mr.A. E. I. Smythe) presided, and the councillors and clerk, also members of the district, were present. The expense is borne by the District Council of Alma, and cost over £20.
