Butler War Memorial commemorates the fallen soldiers of World War One. The soldiers memorial was moved from the memorial park to the front approach of the Butler Hall in 1939.

The soldiers of the Butler district who gave their lives in the war are commemorated by this obelisk, which was unveiled at Butler by Dr. Wibberley in 1924.
