Leighton School Roll of Honour commemorates students from the Leighton School who volunteered for service in World War One.

At Leighton School on Wednesday afternoon, 25th, there was a pleasant gathering of the children, parents and and the local School Committee and visitors. It was intended to hold an Arbour Day but, through some delay the trees did not arrive and this will consequently be a separate function. A Roll of Honor of boys who had attended Leighton School, was unveiled. It was most generously presented by the School Committee, viz., Mr.I.J. Warnes (chairman), and Messrs. J. Flowers,
R. J.Fairchild, D. E. Williams; W. Morgan, I. J. Harris and F. Longbottom.
