The wooden honour roll commemorates those connected with the church who served in World War One.

District News, Gunbower. The honor roll of those who belonged to the Church of England here was unveiled in the local church. There were 20 names on it, of whom five had made the great sacrifice. The Rev. Stephenson, of the Church Missionary Society, unveiled the memorial in well chosen words; and Mr. M 'Coll followed in a spirited address. The pastor, the Rev Mr. Brown, was chairman.
