St John`s Anglican Church Honour RollPrint Page Print this page

St John`s Anglican Church Honour Roll commemorates those who served in World War One.

A most interesting and impressive service was held in St. John's Church, Beecroft, on June 5th, on the occasion of the unveiling of the Roll of Honor, which contains the names of 66 men and one nurse who were engaged on active service during the late war. In the absence of the Rev. J. Young, who is seriously ill, the service was conducted by Rev. T. Terry, assisted by the Ven. Archdeacon Harris, and the Rev. J. F. Chapple. The church was packed by some hundreds of parishioners and friends and the singing was both hearty and reverent.
