Wycarbah Honour Board honours those who enlisted from the Wycarbah district during World War Two.
An impressive ceremony was carried out in the Wycarbah Hall recently before a large and representative gathering. Mr Ranger was in the chair and introduced Father Anderson who was requested to unveil the Roll of Honour Board containing the names of the men who enlisted from the Wycarbah district. Father Anderson said that citizen's first duty was to God an then to his country. These men had offered their service when the country was in peril of invasion. He unveiled the memorial plaque which was covered with the Union Jack. The gathering then sang the National Anthem.
