Tarragindi War Memorial Community Preschool & KindergartenPrint Page
A Preschool and Kindergarten commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The recently completed Tarragindi War Memorial Kindergarten building proved its possibilities as a stage when an open air performance of Shakespeare's "The Tempest " was held on the 3rd September 1954. The hall, designed to make open-air performances possible, was built in a year by volunteers from the Tarragindi War Memorial Pre School Child Association. Prime movers in having it erected were the Association's vice-president , Mr.Edgar Hiley and secretary Mr. A. J. Walker.
