This pool is dedicated to the memory of citizens of Redcliffe who gave their lives in defence of Australia and was officially opened on 4th September 1971 by the Hon. N.T.E. Hewitt M.M., A.F.M., M.L.A. Minister for Conservation, Marine and Aboriginal Affairs
