The monument commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.  It lists the names of those who died in service or were killed in action in the South African (Boer) War, World War One and World War Two. 

It comprises of a decorative gate in front of a stone wall. The wall is surmounted by a clock on a pole and embellished with five plaques commemorating those who died in service or were killed in action in the South African (Boer) War, World War One, World War Two, the Korean War, Malaya, Borneo and the Vietnam War.
