The Scarborough War Memorial was erected by the residents of Scarborough Districts in 1964 in memory of those who died in service or were killed in action in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. Behind the monument is a wall which contains plaques listing individual service personnel.
It was relocated in 1991-92 from the corner of St Brigids Terrace & Brighton Road Scarborough.

This wall of remembrance was dedicated to the members of the Scarborough Sub Branch of the Returned and Services League of Australia, the ex service persons of the neighbourhood who were killed or died in action or who have since departed this life.
