Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially (in fact they are probably larger than those of many companies who exist for profit). In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.
If Monument Australia is useful to you, please make a donation to keep this historical and educational resource available. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Port Neill Honour RollPrint Page

The Port Neill Honour Roll commemorates those who served in World War One and World War Two.
A very pleasing ceremony was conducted in the Port Neill Hall on the evening of September 13, when a large crowd gathered to witness the unveiling of the new honor roll — a very artistic piece of workmanship, containing the names of those who enlisted from Port Neill and District in World Wars 1 and 2. Rev. J. V. Morgan gave the Scripture reading and prayer. Dr. B. W. Wibberley performed the unveiling ceremony in a very able manner, and in an excellent speech held the interest of all present. The ceremony concluded with two minutes' silence, the singing of the National Anthem and Benediction.
