Palmer War Memorial commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The memorial was originally erected to commemorate those from the district who served in World War One. A plaque was added to the memorial at a later date to commemorate subsequent campaigns.

Erected by the residents of Palmer and District.  In honor of local soldiers, bearing their part in the above war.


Dedicated to the memory of the men and women who served in World War 2 and post campaigns overseas and at home, to ensure lasting peace for Australia.
