Gawler War Memorial commemorates those from the district who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The memorial was originally erected at the Gawler cemetery to commemorate the fallen of World War One with the names of those who fell in the Second World War added at a later date.

The memorial erected by Gawler R.S.L. sub-branch commemorating those who fell in the 1914-18 war was this week transferred from the Old Cemetery to a site near the entrance gate of the R.S.L. Clubroom. Plans are to add lettering embracing the fallen of World War 11.
