The monument commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action in World War One and World War Two.
It was originally erected to commemorate those from World War One with an additional plaque at a later date added to commemorate a soldier who was killed in action in World War Two.
The monument has had two pillars added in proximity to it which list the names of Mystic Park residents who have served in all conflicts.
