Broadford War Memorial commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.  The obelisk was originally dedicated to those from the district who served in World War One .  Names of the fallen of World War two were added to the memorial at a later date. A wall was added alongside the memorial to commemorate the conflicts that occured after the Second World War.

The residents of Broadford have decided to erect a memorial to the fallen soldiers from the locality. At the initial meeting £141 was contributed towards the scheme. It is proposed to erect a monument in front of the Shire Hall.
