Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially (in fact they are probably larger than those of many companies who exist for profit). In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.
If Monument Australia is useful to you, please make a donation to keep this historical and educational resource available. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Neville War MemorialPrint Page

Neville War Memorial was originally erected to commemorate those who served in World War One. Plaques were added to the memorial to commemorate those who served in subsequent conflicts.
The memorial was restored and redicated on the 19th April 2015. The memorial has been cleaned and all the names of men and women volunteers have been engraved on granite plaques as the original lead lettering would be a problem to renew. All the brass plaques have been removed and will be framed and put on display in the Neville Hall. A suitable Boer War monument has been erected to honour the names of the 13 volunteers from Neville and Shaw who enlisted to go to the Boer War.
