This memorial has been erected by the community of Helensburgh District and friends with the support of Wollongong City Council

The memorial is dedicated To all who served  

Unveiled by His Excellency Rear Admiral Peter Sinclair AC Governor of New South Wales

7 November 1993 

They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old :
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them
