Tewantin War Memorial includes a Digger statue and was originally erected to commemorate those who enlisted from the district in the Great War 1914- 1919. The marble tablet in the front of the memorial list the names of the fallen. An marble tablet was added to the memorial at a later date and lists the fallen of World War Two. A plaque was added to the memorial to commemorate those who served in the Korean, Malayan, South East Asia and Vietnam campaigns.
The memorial was unveiled by Colonel D.E.Reid, D.S.O., in 1922.
