This plaque commemorates the arrival of the first three surveyors in Queensland.
In May 1839, surveyors Robert Dixon (1800 – 1858), Granville Stapylton (1800 – 1840) and James Warner (1814 – 1891) landed at Queens Wharf Brisbane.
Their surveys initiated the mapping, freeholding and development of Queensland
