Source: MAThis tablet was erected in grateful recognition of 28 years of faithful service rendered by the Rev. J. J. Owen
First as Minister for the Welsh Church at Williamstown, and then at Melbourne.
Always ready to help his fellow countrymen, he was loyal in friendship, wise in counsel, and above all a God fearing man.
He fell asleep in perfect peace July 3rd 1914, aged 54.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith."
