A monument commemorates Pakenham resident, J Reg Henty who died in 1929. Mr Henty was a member of the Shire Council and many organistions within the community.
A large number of friends and relatives assembled at the home of the late Cr. Reg. Henty last Sunday afternoon, to follow the ashes of deceased to their last resting place—on Quarry Hill—near his former residence. Many beautiful wreaths from all the leading organisations in the district were placed on the grave.
