The memorial picnic table was erected to honour Alan Douglas a former workman & volunteer who built the walkways.
The memorial picnic table at the historic Montreal Goldfields, near Bermagui, was stolen only hours before a plaque was to be attached describing the work and dedication of a former volunteer.
