Patsy Lee Place

Patsy Lee was a much-loved Gladstone icon renowned locally for being a keen fisherwoman.  She was often seen
casting a line, setting up a crab pot or sitting at a wharf talking about fishing conditions.

In 1998, Gladstone Ports Corporation named a fishing platform at the entrance of Auckland Inlet in her honour.

Patsy Lee Place was revamped in 2019 as part of the development of East Shores 1B.

It is envisaged to be a recreational area for activities such as yoga, while continuing to pay homage to providing foreshore access to the region`s pristine marine environs.
