Boree Creek Centenary

This plaque is dedicated to the pioneers of Boree Creek and District.

We thank them for their courage, foresight and community spirit, built upon by the men, women and families that followed them to Boree Creek.

The village was proclaimed on 31st August 1910 as Currabilla and later altered by Gazette t9o Boree Creek on 19th October 1910.

Unveiled by Mr John Williams MP, Member for Murray-Darling on behalf of the Boree Creek community to commemorate the centenary of Boree Creek.

2nd October 2010

The impressive steel sculpture was created by Mr Ron Clarke Snr, Waddi, NSW.
