The plaque commemorates the people who have lived in Blackall in the past, those living in Blackall in the present, and those who will live in Blackall in the future.
The Blackall and Yaraka railway line opened to Blackall in 1908 and the Blackall Woolscour commenced operations in 1908. The woolscour celebrated its centenary on the 24th and 25th May 2008.
